Funds from the VA can significantly improve the quality of life and the care choices available for our nation’s Veterans and their spouses and widows. If you are:

  • A wartime veteran
  • The widow of a wartime veteran
  • The frail spouse of a wartime veteran

and if you are eligible, you may be able to receive a monthly pension of:

  • Up to $1,788 per month for a Single Veteran
  • Up to $2,120 per month for a Veteran and Spouse
  • Up to $1,149 per month for a Surviving Spouse
  • Up to $2,837 per month for a Veteran married to a Veteran

There are benefits for all Veterans as well:

  • Durable Medicaid equipment
  • 6 days per week home care
  • 30 days per year hospice care
  • 30 days per year respite care

We will evaluate your case to see if you are entitled to tax free cash benefits under the Aid & Attendance improved pension program. Aid & Attendance helps clients with the practical costs associated with aging:

  • Agency-provided home care costs;
  • Private or family caregiver costs; and
  • Assisted living or other living arrangements
