As an accredited attorney with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) we evaluate whether a wartime Veteran, widow of a wartime Veteran or frail spouse of a wartime Veteran are entitled to tax free, cash benefits under the Aid & Attendance improved pension program. Aid & Attendance helps clients pay for their home care costs which may be provided by an agency, private caregiver or family caregiver or it will help with the cost of assisted living or other living arrangements.
Funds from the VA can significantly improve the quality of life and care choices available for our nation’s Veterans and their spouses.
We coordinate Veterans benefits with other government benefits (including Medicaid) to ensure our clients receive the Aid and Attendance benefits they deserve. If eligible, Veterans may be able to receive a monthly pension of up to: $1,788/month for a Single Veteran; $2,120/month for a Veteran and Spouse; $1,149/month for a Surviving Spouse; or $2,837/month for a Veteran married to a Veteran. These funds from the VA can significantly improve the quality of life and care choices available for our nation’s Veterans and their spouses.
